Advanced 4x4 USB 2.0 Recording System

A professional audio interface that’s just the right size.
We don’t want to push the Goldilocks analogy too far but if two-channel audio interfaces are too small for your needs, and interfaces with eight or more channels are overkill, then our four-in, four-out AudioBox® 44VSL will be just right. With the AudioBox 44VSL and included Studio One® Artist software, you can record up to four tracks at a time with professional-caliber 24-bit, 96 kHz audio quality, using crystal-clear, high-headroom XMAX; preamps. And the AudioBox 44VSL is ready to travel, thanks to a rugged, compact enclosure, so you can create your next hit in your personal studio or your hotel room.

XMAX preamps + 96 kHz sampling = great sound.
The AudioBox 44VSL features the same award-winning Class A XMAX preamps featured in our StudioLive AI mixers, found in recording studios and venues the world over. Record and play back at sampling rates up to 96 kHz, with remarkably low noise. If that’s all geek to you, here’s the simple version: This thing sounds great.

Perfect for small bands, DJs, and just about everyone else.
The AudioBox 44VSL’s two combo mic/instrument and two combo mic/line inputs make it extremely versatile, enabling you to use it with microphones, guitars, keyboards, DJ gear, and more. A mix control blends the input signal with the computer playback stream for zero-latency monitoring so you can overdub new tracks without hearing annoying delays. With its MIDI I/O, you can connect the AudioBox 44VSL to virtually any standard MIDI instrument or control surface. And you get four line-level audio outputs, enabling you to simultaneously feed and switch between two sets of monitor speakers or DJ gear.

These features make the AudioBox 44VSL a simple, affordable solution for small bands, DJs, school music labs, and virtually all instrumentalists.

Roadworthy and ready to travel.
We gave the AudioBox 44VSL a heavy-duty steel chassis and metal knobs, so it can take a serious pounding and remain completely reliable. Its screaming-loud headphone output ensures you can hear your music loud and clear, even in noisy locations. And despite all of its controls, preamps, and I/O, somehow we managed to shoehorn the AudioBox 44VSL into a half-rackspace case that can be screw-mounted to a standard rack tray (not included).
